1980
A memorandum of understanding was signed by AIMMAP, IAPMEI, the Directorate-General for Quality, and LNETI, leading to the establishment of CATIM.
1986
CATIM was officially established by Decree-Law No. 249/86 of August 25.
1983
Legal Framework for Technology Centers as organizational and functional structures providing technical and technological support to domestic industry.
SINCE 1986
From that date on, CATIM began establishing new laboratories and functional units, developing new capabilities and services, and evolving into what it is today.
